No matter who you are this album is perfect seriously. You know the albums you listen to and there 1 or 2 songs you feel the need to skip or just dont like as much? Yeah? This album has none of that. Its 100% awesome all the way through.

Karnivool - Themata

Pure Aussie music perfection. Produced by musical genuis Forrester Savell this album is awesome to chill, rock out and dance to. Everything about this album is awesome except for the fact that it hardly showcases how amazing they are live.

I hate that about most Aussie artists... Their recordings have NOTHING on their live performances.

Anyway, the album opens with a very powerful C.O.T.E, showing off each individuals talent and making it hard for you not to start rocking out. It begins with almost haunting vocals, completely backed up by the gentle melody behind. This song is absoluely INCREDIBLE live also, but hey we're talking about the album here.

The album ends on Change (Part I), beginning with a beautiful instrumental piece following in with purely capitvating vocals, fitting to end such a perfect album. Hopefully this will be rolling into their next album with Change (Part II), which I'm expecting later this year (if I'm lucky).

In a word - Outstanding

Brand New - The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me

Some of the most intelligent and poignant lyrics ive ever heard coupled with some stock standard awesome rocking out.....these guys float my boat at the moment,
top songs: Sowing season, Jesus, Not the Sun, You Wont Know, The Archers Bows Have Broken and Untitled (this one totally weirds me out)
I highly recommend this..........GET ON IT

2nd is disturbed-indestructible

while some of this is classic disturbed.. alot of it is heading in a different sound.. less howling and more singing.. good change i think

i love this album.. the music is different to what theyve produced in the past.. but kept it all rise against,.,
i only got it like 3 days ago .. but listened to it abotu 20 times through already..

cant wait to see them live in march next year

Closure in Moscow, another Aussie band (Melbourne to be precise) I think majority of people on here would like them, they only have an albumette/ep out atm, but it's very very promising.

but yeah.. never has an album had such an ability to have me hypo and jumpy in one song.. to incredible sadness .. meanwhile while im enjoying it the whole time..

Even though it's not a new album..

Brand New - Your Favourite Weapon.
It seems to be the faster and more upbeat of their albums. Rocking out is definately featured on this album, lol.

The newish Kate Miller-Heidke album is pretty good. Well the songs that i've heard from it. I've been downloading some of her new stuff to my iphone today and I'm fair hooked.

Taste of this album would be: Can't Shake It.
