Nerds vs. Geeks

Question... Are they any different?

granted the above also has "dork" factored in, but no one cares about that lol

But what about you all? Definitions of each, or are they all one in the same?

yes and no..
i think they all merge and become the same thing..
lol this aint coming out right..
becuase in that table i see responces that should be in the geek catagory ectect

Geek = A totally intelligent person who will struggle through adolescent years, and may just become one of the worlds richest and most powerful men (Bill Gates anyone?). On the other hand, they'll try their hand at the "cool" game, burn out and live a shitty ass life.

Nerd = Somebody who invests all their time in intellectual or obscure interests; pretty much books and video games rather than having a social life, or taking place in other mainstream activities (sports etc).

hmmm its hard to classify alot of the time.. cause a nerd can also be a jock.. or a different "class" soo to speak

but il have a crack at identyfying ..

geek- totally awkward in social situations... hardly goes out and prefers to spend time read medieval books/playing wow that go out and drink .. cant handle alcohol.. usually is in love with the hottest irl.. but doesnt stand a chance.
nerd-is obsessed with the latest game/computer/electronic item and lines up at 1.30am just to get the first copy.. finishes it in 10 hours without a break and then gets on a blog site to complain about all the flaws. wears tshirts with icons from theyre game.. and spend nearly every day on they console.
dork- similar to the geek.. cant handle social stuff... and often is at the butt end of jokes..

I'm not sure if anyone could guess who I am, so I won't tell you.
But, I will tell you my results, I scored 7 for geek; 1 for nerd; and the Boner Worthy option for dork.
But then again, I spend just as much time on the Java API Doco then I..
