guitar tabs or other sheet music

i thought it would be kool if there was a tab thread so if u have or find any kool and accurate tabs to post em here for everyone to see

really comes down to personal taste, i have many many tabs that i think are rad and sound relatively right to me, but others might not. maybe it'd be better as more of a request thread, like if you're looking for something and can't find it, see if anyone else can help you out.

i usually find the best source for guitar tabs is ultimate guitar - www.ultimate-guitar.com - which also has music reviews, news, interviews, forums, lessons and competitions. pretty handy for fnding several tabs for different parts of a song, especialy for those lovely pink floyd tabs where there is more than one guitar. (they have great wish you were here tabs btw)

also, if you're like me and into aussie music, you'll find it's hard to find a lot of tabs. check out oz tabs -www.ozmusic-central.com.au/oztabs/- the self proclaimed largest aussie music tab database.

i'm pretty handy with finding these sort of things, so if you need to find any tabs and you can ask me and i'll see what i can do.

sarah already posted where i get the most of my tabs from, UG is still the best (is mxtabs back running? not sure)

also, if your having trouble finding a song/tab try 911tabs.com, it crawls all the tab sites for guitar aswell as bass, piano and drums.

i already got tabs 4 smoke on the water and iron man.

i finish my course in 2 weeks and figured its time i learn to play since iv had my guitar for like....2 years now? lol

chords are great to learn, i started out playing lil lead diddys but im really starting to do rythem, its alot more challenging.

if your going to try chords, use this pattern to practice chord changes, its the most simple chords to use. i use a capo though.

use this strumming pattern (D = down U = Up / = pause)

www.all-guitar-chords.com is a great site to look up what chords are where.

also, if you've got a capo handy, put it on the 2nd fret and try playing wonderwall by oasis, it's relatively simple and sounds awesome for a beginner. a good confidence booster if anything.

ive only had a capo for a few days (thanks sammi), havnt tryed wonderwall much, but i will be. give it a try james hope to jam wit you soon man.

also, if you reverse those chords, minus the G, you almost got travis - sing

indeed, justin sandercoe right? he's actually a really great teacher, my dad has learnt a few things from his youtube lessons.

hell yeah spread the word.....this guys lessons are so well put together and clearly explained.....makes learning guitar a little too easy

have you seen his video tutorial on getting a pick out of a acoustic guitar? lol fuck its funny. stupid but funny.

ignore the free lesson stuff, the site is great for learning the strumming patterns to songs, also has video tutorials for songs like wonderwall.

dont forget youtube, alot of people post covers/lessons so you can pick up the right chords being used.

was just listening to some ACDC and thought TNT would be a very easy song to learn. anyone wana post up the chords for me?
