this thread should be called xbox 360 vs playstation 3, i say that at the moment 360 is killing the ps3 but ps3 just needs a few good titles to kick start its reign. starting with little big planet. then moving to FF13 and FF13 versus and so on.

basically xbox is a piece of shit computer with minimal hardware processing technologies and a gay and redundant HD-DVD optical disc technology...cmon guys as if blu ray wasnt gonna win the format war it just sounds cooler.....ps3 on the other hand possesses technology that toshiba and others are developing for wider scale use......plus it has blu-ray...plus little big planet (tehehehe) PLUS other multimedia functionality, plus u can use your psp with it somehow.......oh and its controller doesnt suck major ass........and thats why i hate the xbox.....peace out hombres WOOP WOOP

lol yea im a playstation fanboy too, but not for the games for the pure tech involved. i couldnt care less if the games are craphouse, the console itself is far more versitle. used as a multimedia hub, the playstation elimates the need for external dvd players, blu-ray players (since it won the format war, will be the next disc format, deal with it), a built in harddrive for storage of video and audio, wifi and bluetooth for streaming digital audio throughout your system (no need for windows media server on your computer either) and also wireless connectivity for the psp. while i was at norlec hifi, one of the setups we did majorly involed a ps3 and a psp using a sonos multi-room audio system, it was damn cool. they had a psp in one room, while streaming a 1080p movie from the console to the psp using the wireless in another room, and the audio was streamed wirelessly via the sonos to the hifi in the second room. so basiclly he could watch a high def movie anywhere in his house with surround sound.
