P.s AISAH HURRY UP AND FINISH THE BOOKS. THERES SOOOOO MUCH I WANT TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT THE 3RD AND 4TH BOOK. ESPESH THE FOURTH. SOOOOO GOOOD.

i'm working on getting through all the books, i wish i had more time!!

so im biting the bullet and goign to see it.. if its crap im pasting you all soo soo much.

Ok - The movie was ok; Doesnt have shit on the book.
Edward - Im sorry; but the wrong person was cast... *runs and hides from all possible attacks*

They screwed it up made it look like they fell in love in 2.2 seconds flat. And didn't explain much >.<


But It was Alright. =]

Yeah, the bit that got to me the most was that they hardly elaborated on their love. It was all:
"Hi, I'm Bella"
"Hi, I'm Edward"
"Oh, we're so in love n shiz!! You are my life now! So the lion fell in love with the lamb!"
(after like 10 minutes)
The meadow scene sucked, it wasn't even a meadow! In was a breaking in the trees where a bit of sun came through, and even then it looked like Edward had a bit of a glitter glue accident. I actually like the Edward they casted, it's Bella who I think they could have improved on. She just seemed a bit.. dull. I dunno. Charlie was the best character! And Alice.. and Carlisle.. and I loved Jaspers constant pained expression, so cute [my love of the day is Jasper].
Did it say anywhere in the book that Laurent was black? Coz all I remember is that he was black haired. Not that it matters. I dunno.
I did think it was cool that they brought James, Victoria and Laurent into the movie early on, even if there was no explanation as to who they were. In the book, theres no mention of them then suddenly there they are.

Laurent was supposed to be dark haired and olive skinned, rather attractive with a faint French accent. Victoria shoulda had brighter red hair as well

I get what you making them fallin love so quickly, I wish they had of written that better in the movie, cause all the sarcastic banter that goes on between them in the movie before thye FINALLY admit they're in love is awesome, and would have made the movie totally more realistic.

The only French thing about Laurent is his name. I reckon Victoria looked awesome though, even though she didn't have the red hair. Woulda looked better with red hair, but ah well. They don't really explain his crazy eye colour changing. And they don't talk about Jaspers calming powers =[ I wanted to see that!

sarah was right.. bella is kinda hot.. but who isnt in hollywood movies these days...
some of it was sooo like arhh crap.. but then it was a good movie in the end.. muse in the baseball seen fit perfectly ..

i liked the bit when they cooked her dinner haha

oh yeah, where she meets the family and the baseball game happened in the same day in the book. i'm ready now about how they're trying to get her away from james and victoria. almost finished the 1st book, got the other 3 waiting at home for me!

are the books heaps different to the movie?

Yeah, the books are a lot more detailed of course.. but overall, the movie was a lot like I'd imagined the book to be. Forks looked exactly as I'd imagined, and the forest.

well yeah thats always bound to happen.. cause you couldnt fit everything into a movie.. but they got it right im guessing?

Yeah, I think they did. They did the best they could with two hours, I don't think they could have fit much else in, so overall I'm happy.

well as someone who hasnt read hte book.. apart from the repition of them not talkign at the start .. was alright

I think as a guy, you would prefer the movie because in the book they elaborate a LOT more on their love and feelings and guys dont want that! LOL

nah we just want more severed heads and making out hahaha..

I've been to Washington before, so I knew what Forks would be like... So beautiful, I love all that forestry!!

Is there an actual Forks?

there is. i haven't been exactly there, but i imagined it to be a lot like the place i stayed, and it was like that in the movie.

soooo pretty.

The day after we went to see it, it just bucketed down for two days straight.. it kinda made me feel like we were in a bogan filled, polluted Forks

if only we had a family of sexy vampires living outside the town

We could organise for a bunch of us to go searching around the outskirts of Melton, see what we find?
